Steve began his career in the insurance and financial services field in 1973, and founded Washington Financial Group in 1983. He is a multi-dimensional practitioner working in employee benefits, retirement plans, executive benefits, financial planning and wealth management. He has served as President of the Washington, DC Estate Planning Council and has served two terms as a board member of the Washington, DC Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals.
Steve is particularly interested in community activities and youth sports. He has served as President of his neighborhood homeowners association, and the community swim and tennis club in the River Falls community in Potomac, Maryland. He coached girl’s youth soccer for 17 years, and served as President of the Walt Whitman High School All-Sports Boosters Club for many years.
Fun Fact: Steve is a frequent visitor to the Capital One Arena where he has season tickets to both the Caps and Wizards.
Personal Information: Steve lives in Potomac, MD with his wife Vicki. His interests include reading, bowling, golf, and spending time with his ever-growing family.
